Universal croc color

okay, are we gonna have a universal croc color since lime green is pretty much Disney?????

any thoughts?????

I think they mean Croc...the shoe!

Either way, won't affect me. I'll probably be wearing my sneakers! (though I do own 2 pair-navy blue and a pair of "pearl" Disney ones!)

we've been trying to decide a Universal DIS color for awhile...... I had voted blue because the UO logo is surrounded by blue.

we could do red for

or black for MIB (but that's Mickey's ears colors)

or any color....we just can't decide.....someone suggested orange! (a Home Depot in orange would definately stick out!)

blue is a good color and would show up well. universal globe has a lot of blue in it like bubba's mom posted.

i always get a thin ribbon, make a small bow with it and leave two steamers of about 3 inches. i place a baby saftety pin thru the loop area and pin the ribbon to my top.



usually in a place where people won't stare.......
i aim for my shoulder area to wear it.



we need to set the pace and create a color theme for the universal homies

This is about shoes? I thought just a color like the Disney side of the boards. If its blue or black dont ya think its gonna be a major problem (common color) sorting all the people that are wearing those same color shoes??

Anyway, I dont even wear crocs! OK, carry on, cant wait to hear the outcome.

Fan, hiya I am from Long Island.
Fan, you know what. It is late. Even though I am an insomniatic owl. I half read everything at this time of night. I just blurted out anything. I was picturing a man wearing orange crocs. For the most part. It is not going to happen. And, even me wearing orange crocs. Nope. I have to match somewhat. But, on a side note. You should try crocs. They are very comfy, albeit, not the most attractive shoe. But, the comfort of the shoe, really does outweigh the style of large duck feet. The shoe lends.

Anyhow, forgive me if I misread it. I was thinking someone was asking for a croc color for all of us. Universal fans. I do understand what you mean about blending, and it would be very hard to decipher the die hard Universal lovers. I guess, I will wait, and see what the verdict will be.

I always thought that lime green was the colour for DISers, not just at Disney. I always wear my lime green when I go to Universal as well

If you are going to 'go' for another colour though, it would make sense for it to be a more unusual colour.

LIME is the DIS color....and it's better than nothing...but the Universal people wanted their "own" color.... (as it always seems Disney vs. UO around here )

WE ARE STILL STICKING WITH THE HOME DEPOT MICKEY HEADS...just a different "UO" color!

This thread DID start about shoes...the whole "different color" thing just came into also.....

I can't remember where I saw it but I think Croc just signed a d eal for a Spiderman and I think it was a Fantastic 4 design.I think they sell a pretty fair amount of Crocs at WDW and I am sure some marketing person is paying attention to all the sales they are missing at Universal.

what are u doing with my purse ??? I've taken to using it ALL the time, after doing a test run when i ordered it a few months ago - amazing what it holds...matches my crocs.

Gues the mickey head ones i just got (red & black) are out of the question . They've got them in school colors & even POC (pirates) for the kiddies now.

I'll vote for the colors i've got (have been wearing for years due to an orthopedic issue; have allowed me to forego the usual twice/year cortisone shots in my heels )...hate to say it but glad my DH won't wear them.

purple (not sure if it's still available or not - light shade, feet look like Easter Eggs)

psst...i know it's akin to heresy -- i hate lime green color; never wear it in the parks (makes my hair take on a weird green tinge).
