I'm so used to Disneyland where bags are allowed to be taken on every ride. I was caught off guard last month at our local Cedar Fair park when I was boarding a ride and told I had to leave my bag on an open shelf. I had my wallet, cell phone, camera, etc. and was not comfortable leaving it. I finally pulled out my wallet and left the bag, hoping no one would grab it before I got back.

I'm wondering if bags are allowed on rides at Universal like Mummy and Jurassic Park? If not, where do they have you leave them? I would be fine using a locker, but I get nervous if it's just a shelf or cubby that anyone can access. Thanks in advance for the info!:)

Bags are allowed at Mummy only if it's super small. I've never taken a bag on jurassic park, and on the simpsons ride you have to leave your bag on the floor next to your ride vehicle.
There are lockers next to the mummy for bigger bags though.

Please note that on the Simpsons, only the people in your ride vehicle can possibly gain access to your bag, it is almost as good as having it in the vehicle with you. I only say almost, because there can be about 7? other people that could get to your bag, but you all arrive back at the same time.

Jurassic Park also offers lockers; however, the lockers at The Mummy Ride (right by Jurassic Park) are free fo two hours. I suggest just walking over there and putting stuff in the lockers there. After riding one of the two rides, I switch lockers to reset the time, so that I don't have to pay for the lockers.

Good info. Thanks!
