Universal App - no Menu Showing (the three lines at the top left corner)

I'm trying to understand the Mobile Order procedure and poke around, but there is no menu button on my home screen of the app. Is this because I'm not close enough to Universal? I believe the app is updated. Thanks!
 
Before I updated the app, I found it easier to get to the mobile ordering page. Post update, the only way I can see the mobile order screen/menus is to click on the Dining button on the home page, which then takes you to a map. Then I click on the horizontal lines in the top right corner to get a list view, then you can click through and see menus/mobile ordering for the applicable places.
The Mobile Food and Drink Ordering article indicates that there should be an Order Food and Drinks button on the homepage, but it mentioned having to set up an account and wallet. I have not done that yet, so I’m thinking that’s why it’s not showing up
 
Thanks - I do have my wallet all set up. And I followed the prompts you posted and thank you. But when I find one that uses Mobile Order it says "use the mobile order button on the home screen to place the order." I'm thinking I need to be in the parks.
 
Very interesting! When I tried clicking on Mobile Order for The Leaky Cauldron I’m able to see the prices for all the items. The only time I get an error is when I try to add an item to my order, which is when I get the “Sorry you must be on property to place an order” message.

Correct and this has been driving me nuts. I asked UO about it through chat and they didn’t know either. It began when I updated their app. No menu button.

We were there however last weekend and an ‘Order Food’ (or something like that) did pop up… only when we were on property. It still had glitches though while we were there. For example, everything went through fine until it was time to scan our UOAP for the discount. Then it glitched out… very frustrating.

I really miss the main menu button. Even when we’re at home, I like to quickly search Voodoo in the app (mobile order section) to check out their seasonal limited time doughnut. Searching by the map is very tedious on the phone… or the list.

I’m hoping they’ll have another update to include the main menu button. As you said, it’s even in their current description about using the main menu button… but it’s no longer there.
 
I don't like this change either. have to get take a few extra steps it seems to get to a place to finally place a mobile order.
