with WDW you have to have ADrs if you want to eat at a particular restaurant, and it seems best to make them early.
How is it at Universal? We are going in mid-June and I haven't really planned out the trip yet. There are a few restaurants that came recommended on the board we would like to try, do you suggest ADRs , and if so how far out should I book.
Thanks !!

Universal is an ADR free zone! They are not necessary but you can make them the day you want to go if you'd like.

In all the years I have gone to Universal, I have yet to make an advanced ressie for any restaurant.

I do show my All Access card for priority seating at HRC and the hotel key for places in city walk that honor the priority seating.

For the park, no problem for Finnegans, Lombards or Mythos without a ressie so far.

Metro said it best!

We waited 25 minutes for a table at Mythos at peak lunch time. That's the longest we have ever waited anywhere at US/IOA/CW. :thumbsup2

We enjoyed people watching.

How do you know if the City Walk resturants honer the onsite hotel key pass? Do they have a sign or anything you can look for before you try to flash it?

Just show your key when you get to the resturant. I know Bubba Gump does not offer it though.

It's such a relief to know that we can just go to whichever restaurant we fancy dining at on any given day and trying to get a table there and then. :goodvibes
