HI!
I am planning my first trip to Universal this May. I am going with 2 girlfriends for just one day. We will actually be going on Memorial Day weekend so I know it will be pretty crowded. With that said, I am wondering if you all have any good tips or advice - what to do/what to avoid. I definitely am interested in the Simpsons area/Transformers .... Food/drink recommendations? We would love some good adult drinks and good food hopefully on a budget

Another question - trying to decide on taking my daughters in October for HHN. Perhaps a Sunday thru Tuesday. I can get tickets through my work site (tickets at work) so I was wondering do I add HHN tix when I get there?

I have one idea- drink at the Hogshead Inn or somewhere in Diagon Alley. Fire Whiskey was tasty

If you are going to be in Universal during the day on the Sunday to do HHN you can go and buy what's called an add on ticket.....sometimes called stay and scream.........it's cheaper than a full night ticket I'm sure.

Gives you an advantage over general admission crowd as you stay in a holding area and get released early and usually see 2 houses before they let everyone in. But you have to be in the park as they clear non HHN guests out at 5pm.

Otherwise you can just buy a normal admission ticket to the event.

For food, have a look at the sticky damo created above........full of menus with prices for everything in parks, Citywalk and hotels.

You'll love the alcoholic blood bags at Hhn
Try 2-3 of them and nothing will scare you in the park

If you know for sure you going in October, you may want to buy yourself a Power Pass for the May trip. It should be cheaper than 2 sets of tickets. You might get an Annual Pass Holder rate for the Hotel in October. Finally, it would also open up Annual Pass Holder Rates for HHN tickets.
