Hi there,
Does anyone have experience with the United lounge in Orlando? I have come into two one time passes.
Do I need to buy one for my 10 year old?

Thanks!!

One time use passes are one pass for one person. If you have to pay, it is not worth the $39 in advance or $50 at the door for the Red Carpet Club, unless you'll be stuck at the airport for many hours.

Why not call and ask and you must wear professional clothing to use the club.
No jeans, shorts or t-shirts allowed.

If you are expecting a long layover its best to check out the Hyatt day room which I believe is $65 a day and is open 10a.m-6p.m daily

Absolutely not true!

I have been in United Clubs many times and there is no dress code. Shorts, jeans and t shirts are allowed, even in first class lounges.

No need to call; I already answered this question. Additionally, you can always go to the source for a definitive answer:

United Club one-time passes are available for purchase for $50 at club locations or through the United app on your Apple® or Android" device. This pass will allow one person one-time access to any United Club location.

We have membership in the United Club and I can guarantee that the dress code is never enforced! I've seen people in suits and people in yoga pants and kids in shorts/tshirts. Depending on the agent at the door, they MAY let you in with your 10 year old without having to buy her a pass. However, as a PP mentioned, if you have to pay for it, it's not worth the price unless you are spending quite a few hours during your layover.

At the United Club in Honolulu, I wore sweats, we changed my 4 year old into pajamas, I think my DH wore sweats too. There was no dress code mentioned at all.

Thanks everyone. Lol. I usually fly Air Canada. I see all kinds of folks dressed all sorts of ways in the lounge. :)

Ill see about picking up a pass in eBay or asking about if someone from my work can flip me one.

Not sure how you are accessing the Maple Leaf Lounges, but if you are AP Elite (or Super Elite) you can get into the MCO lounge without using a pass (and can bring one person in with you).
