Hi
We have found a decent price on a United flight out of Duluth. I have never flown on United. Any opinions?

Any experience flying out of Duluth on United?

Thanks:thumbsup2

I flew United monthly for about 2 years in 2011-2013 from Baltimore or Dulles and never had an issue. But these are heavily traveled routes. Are you flying non-stop or with connections?

The one thing I liked on United was having the option to pay for extra leg room seats which they don't have on Southwest. Depending on the plane and if you got an exit row, you had far more room than you get in first class.

I think the Dept. of Transportation keeps statistics by airline and airport so you may find some details about Duluth.

We would fly from Duluth to Chicago and then to Orlando. It will be during the winter, so I am hesitant about flying out of DLH. We usually fly on Delta through MSP.

I will look into checking the stats.
Thanks!

Connecting flights in winter in that part of the country I would think is risky. Weather in Duluth might cause a missed connection in Chicago. Even non-stop from here in Baltimore to Orlando in winter can be iffy. Especially if the plane is coming from somewhere else.
