My school doesn't have uniforms.
But for gym class, our uniform was purple mesh school shorts and our gray school shirt. If you didn't wear that you could wear the purple mesh shorts, and a white or black t-shirt with shoes. Flip flops weren't permitted.

We have uniforms.
Plaid skirt, choice of 2 colors of sweater, a couple of different style sweaters/vests, school polos (long sleeve or short), or 3 different color oxfords.
Tights or socks with a choice of like, 4 different colors?
Annnd shoes must be solid color, pretty much a shade of brown/very light brown, black, navy.

Tie (there's an upper school tie for Y10 and Y11 and lower school tie for Y7,8 & 9)
Black trousers or skirts
Black or white socks
Black shoes.

Then to keep us warm we get to wear Black V-necks and Black school fleeces.

Yeh we pretty much freeze.

a blue blazer which we wear from november to may it has the name of our school on one of the pockets

guys:

blue blazer the same s the girls but theris has pockets on the inside

and they have a choice of 3 or 4 different ties i think

We dont have school uniforms at our school but,

every time there is a sports event, that team dresses up the day of the event

Wow, so far, my school is the least strict, I'm surprised.

Mine's one of the most strict, but the boys next door is so slack.
They can wear khakis, whatever kind of polo they want (beginning and end of school year). During winter, they can wear dress shirts of pretty much any color as long as it's solid, and a tie of any choice.
Shoes, I'm pretty sure, are just no tennis shoes.

And there are no beards, and hair length is regulated.

But otherwise, that's it. Meh.
We get the plaid of course.

yes, we do. in my high school, we have to wear nice pants with our school's polo. it sucks. its my first year there, but last year the kids got to wear what ever kind of polos, but the girls werent tucking in their shirts, and they were too tight, so they made us now where the school's polos. so yeah i hate it lol. but i dont have to wake up every morning and wonder what i am going to wear. but i have to pick out my polo color and thats it. its pretty easy, but they are also pretty ugly! you see, i went to a public school for junior high, so i got to wear whatever. but now i cant. i guess ill live.

Public school, no uniform. The public school a few towns over has a "lax uniform" code, and I really wish we'd get that.

Also, the dressing up on game days? That's a rule in basketball. It shows respect for the opposing team.

We do that too but we are already dressed properly so we just go in our uniform
