Hello! I am leaving for universal on Friday. Me, my grandmother, 2 aunts, uncle and 2 cousins (DH is staying home with the dogs!) are staying at Cabana Bay, 5 of us will be in a suite. We are there Friday night ( arrive in Orlando at 8pm) Saturday, Sunday and depart Monday at 11am from Orlando. I have some questions about the parks ETC.
1) Only 4 of us will ride FJ but the others want to wait in line with us and go through the castle is this okay?
2) will Gringotts be okay for my grandmother? She likes dinosaur and soarin in WDW for comparison, but not any coasters beyond barnstormer
3) do we need reservations for Mythos?
THANK YOU!

1) Yes they can walk through with you and exit just before the ride starts. They may also take the castle tour at a more leisurely pace

2) The coaster elements are not really that intense, but is more intense than barnstormer. I would say that she would be okay to ride.

3) You do not need reservations unless you are going on a peak day at a peak time. However, we always make reservations using the open table app. You can make and cancel reservations on the fly. I would go ahead and make one and you can cancel if needed.

My 87 year old mother rode Gringotts this past September and was perfectly fine with it.

Thank you!
(On a side note Damo, Your Cocker Spaniel is adorable! I have 2 :)

So cute! That one in my pic has been in doggie heaven for a few years now. We have a red and white one right now. He's a real handful and kinda neurotic, lol.

We lost the black one in June, it was the hardest thing I've ever done! I am a dog groomer and the Parti cockers do tend to be more neurotic, especially if they aren't well bred.

Funnily enough, our best cocker (we've had 4) was from a backyard breeder but he wasn't a parti. Our present one has a great pedigree and is extremely smart...too smart. He hates any change in his routine and hates too much stimulation and has a tough time reading people. If dogs can have autism, I'd say he was definitely on the spectrum.

Regarding your Grandma on the rides. My 87 year old Mom is not a coaster person at all and she thought Gringotts was lots of fun. We didn't put her on a ton of stuff at Universal but Gringotts was quite tame.

My 45 year old self went on it 2 weeks ago and it nearly broke me, LOL. The sideways movements, OUCH! That's a one-and-done for me, I think.

Those are really cute dogs. They look like they were having a conversation and the photographer interrupted them, and they are impatiently saying "um, yes? what is it?"
