Unforeseen Cirumstances

As I mentioned earlier making all the changes to travel plans is stressful in and of itself. Combine that with the grief and the emotional toll one is undergoing and it can feel overwhelming. All of the tour companies I called in Scotland that we booked excursions with, Real Mary King's Close, Scotch Whisky Experience and Edinburgh Dungeon made making changes very easy. The hard part was explaining over and over again why we had to make changes. Dreams Unlimited and ABD were wonderful and very supportive and my family is very grateful for that. American Airlines and United airlines were not as easy to deal with and we are still waiting to see how things will turn out. Their representatives were wonderful. The procedure for these circumstances, sending copies of the death certificate, filling out forms etc. is a pain in the butt.

Thank you once again everyone for your words of sympathy and support. I send my deepest sympathies to everyone who has also lost a loved one. I know we will enjoy our trip and my dad will be in our hearts and in our thoughts so he will be with us too.
