Unforeseen circumstances Cali adventure closing early tonight

Just curious loudspeaker announcement that due to Unforeseen circumstances that California Adventure was closing early. Anyone have any ideas why that may be? It is not raining or snowing. Park is not crowded at all .

It is not raining, nor too cold. It is pretty crowded. It is closing one hour early, so does not seem worth the trouble.

They never closed because of low crowds and I doubt the crowds are that low anyway. Hopefully someone will be able to find out. I bet some sort of accident.

53 is pretty cold. I read it on twitter about an hour ago it was the low attendance due to the earlier rain and the cold tonight. It's not unusual....

oh may that is why also.. oh that is true they do come down tomorrow........maybe they needed less park guests near the letters so they could put up the walls to start taking them down?

Why are they taking letters down? Are they changing the name?

They are changing the entrance, including moving the turnstyles out to where the letters currently are.

I was in DL in the afternoon and around 3:30pm, an announcement was made that they were closing Disneyland at 11pm (instead of midnight) due to "the possibility of inclement weather". The sun had already come out at that time, but it was getting chilly. It was still only in the 50s, but there was a steady wind. The flags in Town Square were practically stuck in a horizontal position, so the wind chill was probably 40-something. My friend and I guessed that low attendance was going to get even lower after the sun went down.

I didn't hear about DCA, but that makes sense too if DL was going to close early.

Since a big part of DL and CA is visited by locals, we locals can't take anything much below 50 degrees. We are pretty wimpy. Also all our blood is thin.

I would venture a guess that there is no point in that trip.
