Unemployed.....AGAIN.....Lots pf prayers & pixie dust please

4 months ago I was thrilled and on top of the world (I Wish that was literal!)because my 2 year job hunt had finally ended, through an employment agency. My future employer "loved me" and did nothing but praise me the entire time I was there. Last Friday, I got an email in my personal mailbox via my smart phone from the employment agency 10 minutes after I left work telling me that was my last day at that assignment! Apparently, the company I was working at, called the agency and told them "It just wasn't a good match". They said NOTHING to me at all except "Have a great weekend! See you Monday!" I am so tired of looking and looking and looking. Getting rejection after rejection after rejection. I don't know how much more I can take!!!

I'm so sorry! I can sympathize - I've been out of work for 18 months myself. It's very frustrating to have interviewers tell you nothing but positive stuff and then not get the job... And then repeat that process over and over.

Here's some pixie dust that your agency is able to help you find something else quickly. if nothing else at least you now have recent experience.

First off, stay positive. Remember, your self-worth does not revolve around a job and you're entering a market that is vastly different than just a year ago. Hopefully something comes along quickly for you.

Thank you all so much! I feel like I just got a BIG OL one of these I will try to stay positive! I know that negativity has a way of seeping out your pours like stinky garlic! I've been unemployed for a week now, and I've already sent out about 150 resumes!

So sorry to hear of your job loss. It obviosly had nothing to do with you. Where I work we had a long time employee leave to move out of town and the boss used an agency to hire someone temp to hire. Well, after the temp had been there about four months the coworker decided to move back. It was the same scenario. Nothing said by my boss to the temp on her last day.

My boss wasn't trying to be mean she's just not good at the hr type stuff so she usually let's someone else do it, including me.

I will keep you in my prayers for a speedy and productive job hunt.
