Underground Paris-ever been there?

I just read an interesting article about the underground areas beneath Paris. The legally accessible and illegal areas, parties, exploration, "cataphiles" or the people that love this area, inspectors, etc.

Anyone ever take the tour of this area? Anyone ever brave enough to wander into the "off limits" area?

I have only been in the official Catacombs, but there are some interesting websites about adventures in the off limits areas.
