Undercover tourist tickets??

I always purchase our tickets through Undercover tourist....I've never upgraded at the park before and I just want to make sure I am correct on this...I have to use them first then I go inside and can upgrade...we actually just want to add a day to the tickets we're arriving earlier than expected

I think using at least 1 day is considered the safest way to bridge to the current gate pricing. There have been some mixed reports over time from people that didn't usea day first.

You must use at least one day of your UT tickets then you may upgrade your tickets up to 10 days.

I added a day last November to mine. 4 day to a 5 day. Just use it once and on that first day go to guest services and add a day. Cost me about $12.50
