I will be buying some 5 day passes from UCT shortly. if I buy the base tckets, can we add the hopper feature when we get to WCW if we decide we want it?

Use your tickets to enter a theme park first before doing your upgrade. You bought your tickets at a discount price. If you upgrade before using them, you'll owe for the upgrade and the discount you received. But actually using the tickets elevates their worth to gate price value, so you only pay for the upgrade.

Not op, but searching for this, too. Thanks!

but do you know if park hopper will be allowed to be added (at park) to Non expiry tickets?
Thanks

Yes. PH is a MYW ticket option, same as NE is a MYW ticket option. I don't see how Disney could deny supporting upgradability of MYW tickets just because they have the NE option. They are all the same basic MYW tickets, regardless of which options the ticket contains.

As posted (above) in post #3, if your ticket is bought from outside of a direct Disney source, use that ticket first before doing your upgrade. That will elevate your ticket's worth to Disney's current gate price when the upgrade math is being calculated.

Yes, but you can only add options/days/upgrade within 14 days of first use regardless of the No Expiration option. No Expiration only applies to the use of the entitlements on the ticket, not the ability to upgrade.

I am going to be buying a ticket for future use--maybe in a year or two and I was just trying to figure out with the Non Expiry tickets no longer being sold if in a year or two if adding the PH option would be allowed,,maybe for the added 30.00 or 40.00 I should do it now.
Thanks again.
Mel

I don't understand why you would purchase a 4-day ticket and add NE option. What kind of WDW trips do you have planned for the future? You could just buy a 4-day ticket with options desired and save it for a future trip. Doesn't need NE option.

I agree. From what I've read, the NE option doesn't make sense unless you plan to use the tickets for at least 3 trips, and I can't see the logic in spreading out a 4 day ticket (even with the WPF&M option) over at least 3 trips.

I was able to upgrade my Undercover tourist MYW NE 10 day ticket once inside DHS (to WPFM), but the CMs were VERY confused about how to do this and ended up giving me fastpasses for the amount of time it took them. It seemed they "couldn't find it in their system".

Hi
I go once a year, and to be honest I've been going long enough that I can do two parks in one day. Usual plan is rope drop MK until lunch,PH over to Epcot Flower and Garden Festival, enjoy a nice dinner and we are done. I do enjoy a Typhoon Lagoon water park
visit each year. Sometimes we go back late to MK for the Wishes Dessert Party.
Right now AK and DHS hold no interest,,,maybe when they get a bit of an update. We are also spending more time at the resort and have recently started going over to the "Dark side" Universal Studios.
One ticket of this type would last me 4 years.
Hugs Mel

OK, I see how you use your WDW days, and you have a nice plan. In your case, since it's your last chance to purchase the NE option, it might be wise to buy the most days on a ticket that you can afford. After Day 4 entry ticket, the price for each park entry is only $10+tax. As prices increase over time, you might later regret that you didn't get more days on your NE ticket.
