Hi. I downloaded the Undercover Tourist free app. Can anyone tell me how accurate the wait times are? How accurate are the menus? How good is the crowd predictor? Is this an app worth using while at the park? I am especially interested in the gps feature. I see that you can pay for the full version but I wasn't sure what extras that gets you other than no ads? Can anyone tell me the difference. Is it worth the money to buy the full version? It looks like a great app but I don't want to waste time programing all my info and planning on using it for lots of info if it doesn't work well or accurately. I would appreciate any feedback you can give me. Thanks soooo much from a first time Disney visitor!

I'd love to know too. I just downloaded it the other day but wondering how solid the information will be for our trip.

I was thinking of downloading this app as well. I'm holding off until I hear further reviews. Our trip isn't until April.

I can't really help compare versions as I downloaded and used the full version. The wait times were fairly accurate on our trip last May. I tended to check both Undercover Tourist and the Touring Plans apps, and they were generally pretty close. I plan to use both of these again on our next trip.

hi!
my family and I used this app on our trip this past June. We had our trip pretty well planned out and just used it as more of a fun back up and interesting piece of info to check out at the start of the day. However, it worked great for us as a casual predictor of crowds and the wait times were always spot on.
My favorite feature for it was being able to punch in all of our ADR's and set reminders for myself. My phone would ding an hour before a meal and let me know when and where it was scheduled, just so we wouldnt lose track of time and miss a reservation. All in all, for a free app, I think it is accurate and well worth the download! hope that helps!

We were there last week (Sept 28-Oct 4) and compared UT's app vs. Mobile Magic at various points before getting on the rides....

...we found that Mobile Magic was nearly 100% accurate with what was posted at the ride entrances....UT was close, but was often off by at least 10 minutes. At one point it was showing Star Tours to be a 40 min wait when in fact it actually was a 5 min posted wait time (at least the error was in our favor).

Sooo...I'd adivse to use the ride times on the UT app as close to what the wait times are, but definitely not accurate.

Downloading Magic Guide (I assume that's the one you meant by Mobile Magic) right now. I'll try it on my upcoming trip and report back.

From my previous experiences I thought UT was 'ok' but not great. I had actually stopped using it because it wasn't all that accurate. I suppose it depends on the people reporting.

You can do similar things with:
http://m.disneyworld.go.com/

They have wait reports but not actual times. It's some king of rating like:
- see it now!
- moderate

Not hugely informative but it'll give you an idea and it is from the source.

I really don't get why Disney doesn't just report their wait times via their mobile site and why they don't just setup a webservice so other apps can use it.
