yes I do.

I am the minority that they're worried about offending. I'm an athiest. And I say "under god" when I say the pledge. Its not saying what god. Its saying a god. And out of all the athiests I know, and all of the jews, and wiccans, and christians, no one is offended by that.

The politically correct fad needs to stop. I'm sick and tired of watching everything that comes out of my mouth because I might hurt some feelings.

This is going to spark a lot of rude comments towards me, but I don't believe it should be. Some people may not think it means "any" god, and some people have no religion so talking about heaven or hell, OR god is something they will not do. Some religions people worship a "goddess" and not a god, so that may also spark some controversy.

I personally think that "under God" should stay in the Pledge. You do not have to say the Pledge if you don't want to. Also, you could just leave out "under God" when saying it.

Whenever I say the Pledge in school, I always say "under God," because I am Catholic. But honestly, its a citizen's choice as to wheter or not they want to say the pledge.

Pilgrims came to America to escape religious persecution from English Catholics.. we are considered a protestant nation... nation was formed along the lines of christian principals..

I personally don't have a problem with ommitting the under God, part, simply because others may not believe in any type of God, so it doesn't matter to me.
