I enjoyed that movie, loved the scenery.

The scenery, the atmosphere, everything. :D

ooh I want to see that. It was out when I was about to leave for France. I wanted to see it then; it probably would NOT have helped my urge to not come home, huh?

Great movie! I saw it on a cruise ship a few weeks ago. The day after I saw the movie, I was on an island tour of Barbados. I was walking around outside this really beautiful church near the ocean, and a bird pooped on my head! Thank goodness I had seen that movie the night before - I just took it as a positive sign. (Otherwise I would have been as mad as the dickens - LOL!!)

:)

I have been wanting to see this movie for weeks....

I am going to Hollywood Video tomarro and renting it, while the kids are at school!

:earsgirl:

I really liked this movie and was ready to start packing at the end of it. It was a lot like the movie chocolat IMO.

I loved it! I really couldn't put my finger on exactly why, but I was mesmerized while watching it.

It was a winner! I loved it too and will move with you, when do we leave?

I really wanted her to end up with the man who sold her the place, They had terrific chemistry.

Yeah, but she wouldn't break up his marriage.

Binny, how about next week? First I have to plan on robbing a bank or winning the lottery. ::yes::

Was surprised when it didn't end this way. Thought for sure... great movie.

I love the theme of the movie- the whole you never know how your wishes and hopes will be fufilled but in time they will be.

In the book, which was autobiographical, she actually had a serious boyfriend the entire time and they found the house together and ended up living happily ever after.

She does live there pretty much full-time now.

I'll have to read the book, but I like how they wrote the movie.
