Under Eye Circles and Bags

Hey I need some beauty tips. I have to worst bags and circles under my eyes. The circles are so dark it looks like someone punched me and the bags are so bad that when I smile more bags appear. It's like I've got matched luggage under my eyes. Any tips on how to get rid of them? I'm getting plenty of sleep. I know that cucumbers are supposed to help. I am so tired of people telling me I look tired even though that's really just a nice way to say that you look like crap But any tips you guys have would be great.

I've had circles since I was in 4th grade
They're horrible, and make me look like I never sleep, even if I get 12 hours! I've tried sleeping 6, 8, 10 hrs...nothing helps in that sense. I was once told that drinking a lot of water helped...well since I'm a dancer I do that anyway! Nothing!
I've tried creams, and lotions and gel-masks...everything! My last resort is going to be No Puffery, by Origins (available at Macys) which I have HEARD works wonders...I think its about $20 and it's a 30-day regimen.
Until the day I find my miracle cure, I say stick with a good cover up. Avon has a few. Good luck, and let me know if you find anything!

Unless it's allergies or fluid retention, there is really nothing you can do about it short of plastic surgery--it's hereditary. Unfortunately, the older you get the more noticeable it becomes. I am now 40 and it is getting pretty bad. For most of my life, I just had the "circles". Now I'm getting the puffiness under the eyes (especially if I am having fluid retention). The skin just gets looser there.

Manda, I just read a review of "No Puffery" by Origins. The review was done by Paula Begoun, aka the Cosmetic Cop. She didn't give it very good marks. You may want to ask for a sample before you shell out the $30!

I saw this in a movie once (Ms. Congeniality). I have been known to use it and it does help some.

Unfortunately, for bags, nothing can be done, so I would save your money. I have bags and they are hereditary. In fact, I've met with a few Plastic Surgeons and a Dermatologist to discuss. What it is is little pockets of fat under your eyes. The doctor can do a small inciscion and take out the fat. I'm going to have it done in June, because I think it is very aging.

Thanks for the tip! I got my review from Allure and a website...I forget which ones...But I definatly will! Thanks!!! (if they dont give me a sample, they have the sample bottles, so ill go put it on every day after work...lol *i work in the mall w/a macys*)

I was hoping that there was something I could do. This puffiness and baggy eyes just appeared last week and I was like ACK! what's this!! I laid down last night with cucumbers on my eyes for like 10 minutes. They looked a little better. The cat liked them he kept trying to lick my eyes.

I know that Mary Kay also has some products. I bought some, but haven't used it yet. I know that my bags under my eyes are worse when I don't use my allergy meds.
