Thursday September 9
Had 8AM PS at Donald's Breakfastosaurus so we drove. Left breakfast right at 9AM almost ran into Pooh on the walkway near FlameTree BBQ. Saw him, Tigger and Eeyore. Walked to Africa to ride KS. Stopped along the way to meet Flik. Flik was slick he heard me talking to DS and personallized his autograph for DS in his book. Then in Harambe DS and the African musicians were having a good time. DS thought he was just banging away, but the musician was making a song out of DS's banging. Finally rode KS. Saw the new baby elephant pretty close and the giraffes were so close my zoom lens was too much lens. Walked the Pangani Trail next, then walked over to Asia for the MJT. We realized DS wasn't getting tired so we headed back to Rafiki's Planet Watch. On the way from Asia, just before entering Harambe, DS met an orangatang-type character. He wasn't too sure about this. I think he wasn't sure if it was a character or a real orangatang. Rode the train to Rafiki's. All 3 of us loved the air conditioned building. It rejuvenated all of us. DS met Rafiki and Stanley. We didn't bother with Pocahontas after the Cinderella incident. He totally blew off Cinderella at MK and went straight for her mouse friends Suzy & Perla. I guess to him she was just a woman in a big dress. DS ran around a little and then I took him to see what was in the labs. Just as we were getting our body temps back to normal we headed outside to the petting zoo area. We don't understand why DS can't be as gentle with our cat as he is with the animals at petting zoos and fairs. Oh well. He got a kick out of washing his hands from an elephants trunk. That must've wore him out. He fell asleep as soon as he got back in the stroller. We found a shady spot and let him nap. I went and got us lunch and we just ate it on the bench. Once he woke up we saw Stitch, then headed to Camp Minnie-Mickey. There we saw Chip & Dale, Goofy, Minnie and Mickey. We watched the 3PM Lion King show. We headed to parade route and found a nice spot with a bench. We have never stayed for the AK parade and was looking forward to it. Shortly a CM came by and said it had been cancelled, thunderstorm coming. We were kind of mad. Dark clouds had been rolling by all day with no action. We weren't mad long. Just as we pulled out on Osceala Pkwy it started pouring.

Decided to go to the BW for dinner. Ended up at B&C. Walked a complete circle around looking at the sights. Not much sights at the BW on a weekday around 7PM so we headed back to PC to make it an early night.

Friday September 10
Arrived by bus (for DS sake) at TL slightly before 10AM opening time. Surprised to see that here there is no security to check your bags, etc like at the 4 majors. Found a shady spot in Ketchakiddee Creek to camp out. Quickly realized that DS doesn't like to have water squirted on him from above, below or from the side. But we did find a miniature tube-style ride that he continued to say "again" after we rounded him up at the end of it.
After awhile we peeled him away to do Castaway Creek and then hung out for a little bit near the very shallow area of the surf pool. We then grabbed some lunch at Leaning Palms, did another circle on Castaway Creek and then back to DS's mini-tube ride for 30+ minutes before heading out. Saw Chip & Dale in their swimsuits but had used a couple of pictures of film early in the day and had no more with us.

Decided to take the bus to MK then walk to CR for Chef Mickey's. DS loved the bus, train and monorail rides. We should've rode the boat somewhere: WL, Poly, wherever, he would've loved that too. We toured CR a little before and after dinner. We did 3/4 of a lap on the monorail to get back to MK to catch a PC bus. We were the only 3 on it and DS loved it. Upon getting back to PC we strolled the grounds one last time for this trip:(

That's so funny about your son liking the bus, train..... Our son loved the monorail and the bus the best of everything when he was 2 1/2 at WDW. He's 14 now and still does like the monarail!!!

A lot off the subject, but i noticed your location. I grew up in huron ohio. I havent been back since early 70's, my mom still keeps in touch with a couple of our old neighbors. We lived 6 houses from lake erie. oh well sorry to ramble but it was surprising to see lorrain oh.

All in all a good trip even with Frances. Now to start planning your next trip ;)
