Unclaimed Ebay Payment? What do I do?

I have had people say they have paid me and the payment is not in my Paypal account because the buyer had the wrong email address. That hardly happens now because most buyers pay through the auction page on ebay.

The seller, being new, might also have put the wrong email address when they opened their Pay Pal account. Sellers fill in the their PayPal email address on each auction listing.

I hope it works out for you. Sad for that new seller to get 2 negatives right off the bat.

Well, I paid thru the ebay link. Should I be doing something? Paypal has a place where I can cancel my payment. Should I do that and resend it? I guess I'll wait to hear from the seller.

You can cancel it.....But I would wait to hear from the seller if it was me.

The money will revert back to your PayPal account if it remains unclaimed for 30 days.
