I am helping friends plan a trip to Disney. They got an amazing price through Dreams for Feb. 3-10.

They are a family of 5, 2 adults and 3kids age 10,8,6.

They got 7 nights at POR, Magic Your Way Park Hoppers(7 Day) plus Dining for just over $2400!!!!

Are you sure the dining is included? I just priced what you listed for similar dates (2/3-2/10 was sold out on WDW's website and only offered CSR), and the quote without dining was just over $2400. Unless there's a discount I don't know about.

Just wanting to make sure they are getting what they think they are. :wizard:

I would tend to agree... Disney doesn't just magically give someone a discount... I would double check with Dreams to make sure that included the dining.. if so...... nice deal..

I would have your friend check this out further. I checked those dates and there was nothing available for the POR so I used the week after. 7 nights, with a 7 day hopper with dining for 2 adults and 3 children ages 10,8,3 comes to 3372.82, without the dining it comes to 2400.17

It's possible there was a computer glitch or it was miss priced and now the price is fixed(correct).
Before anyone says Disney doesn't make those mistakes-they do.
There is a drastically reduced room category for the entire year of 2007- maybe it is part of the new Disney magic celebration.
I happened upon it as I was looking for some info on my upcoming trip.
So it is possible that the OP is correct and her friend did indeed get that magical deal. :)

I'd ask for a Disney World itemized confirmation showing the package components and total cost. If the dining plan is truly included at that price, it will be listed as separate entries (quick service meals, snacks, and table service meals).

Wishing the OP's friend luck in confirming this deal! :wizard:

Cindy - can you tell me more about this? What drastically reduced room category?

I got a great deal like that last January-Until I actually got my confirmation papers. THEY FORGOT TO INCLUDE MY DD8! That explained my great "baragain"

It is a "sweet" deal and very close to 2 of the parks ;) .
It includes me, DH & DD3 with a park pass for $205.81-that is total per night-not per person. The way I figure, is the park passes total $202.36 so I am really only paying $3.45 a night.
Or I can look at it as I am getting free passes and a deeply discounted room.
I booked it online on the Disney site.
I booked 8 1-night stays.
I checked different days & months and it still came out to $205.81 for the 3 of us.
"Special perks" and "special people" are in this category/level.

I'm sure you Dis'ers can figure it out-you guys are smart as a whip. :thumbsup2

Let's see how many can figure it out WITHOUT posting the name of the resort or the category/level. :teeth:

8 one night reservations seems like an odd way to do this. You have a deposit for each of the 8 one night reservations?

Why not just share what you did?

Mketting-
Were you able to find anything else out?

Sandi-
I did share what I did. They are paid in full.
I see your in East Lansing area-I'm in Okemos-small world :goodvibes.
How about those Spartans-big game this Sat.

Cindy

Well, I'm officially going nuts trying to figure this out. I hope I don't pull my hair out... :rotfl:

But are you paying $202.36 for your park passes every day of your trip? (Since you did 8 reservations?)

I'm holding a 'glitchy' reservation right now. I paid it in full and have the printed confirmation - just waiting to see what happens and if the other shoe will drop one of these days.

It's more than likely a value resort, but your going to be alot of searching without a date IMO. Since value, peak, holiday, etc seasons cost more, it's more than likely a value season. Cheapest I found was $298 @ POP. Not sure why someone would post it and not atleast alittle bit more details instead of teasing though. It's like saying "I baked you cookies but you can't eat them" :confused3

Yes-I am paying $202.36 every day for 3 park passes.

Folander-I have used different days/months and seasons and have put in for 2 adults & 1 child-3. It still comes out to $205.81.

It is definitely NOT a value.

Cass-I paid for mine and rec'd. email conf.-good luck

Why make us "figure it out", PB'sMom? I thought these boards were for helping each other make the most of their Disney vacations. I dont understand :confused3 why you just dont post what you actually have done in PLAIN english and not "code" words.
