Unable to retrieve reservation?

I booked an APH rate way back in January for RPR. I have the confirmation number, but when I try to retrieve the booking via the Universal site it keeps giving me an error. Is it because I booked it using the Loews link? (Shared elsewhere on the board).

There should be a booking reference number, which is different than the confirmation number.
Pretty sure the booking numbers all have letters in them, and none of the confirmation numbers do. They also call the booking reference the reservation number.

(Numbers cut off intentionally, it's an active reservation...)

I get the impression the confirmation number is a Loews number and the reservation/booking number is from Universal, but that's just a hypothesis.

No, I was on the regular universal page. Apparently you can't cross reference between the two? On the bright side, I could find my ressie using this link. I only have the booking reference ID - there's no confirmation number other than that which I can see.

When/if they send you the link to check in online, it'll show you the confirmation number on that screen. It also shows the regular booking/reservation number. I thought perhaps your Loews email was referring to their confirmation number.

This is the online checkin link, which also shows you a list of all your Loews reservations. It's the only site I've found that lists them for you.

If they don't send an online checkin email, you can still use this link to check in once your stay is a day or two away.

Edit - I guess you need an existing confirmation number to use that... then even if you have an old confirmation number, that'll get you through the login page at which point you will see any current reservations. So it's not useful until you have a confirmation number, then it becomes very helpful for those like me that have multiple reservations floating around until final decisions have been made.
