I've been doing my online check-in but I'm unable to make room requests. No choices show up when I click on the drop-down bar. Any suggestions?
Mods, can we please sticky something to the top like “Room Requests Disabled At This Time” since the topic comes up at least once a day?
If it's broken, they wouldRoom requests have been unavailable for some time now on the Disney online check-in. One would think they would fix this. This is very frustrating for those of us with upcoming reservations. I suggest you call Disney reservations to request your room requests.
Heck, if you count the times it's mentioned in another thread, it's more like once an hour!Mods, can we please sticky something to the top like “Room Requests Disabled At This Time” since the topic comes up at least once a day?
I kind of think that the "fix" is going to be removing the room request fields entirely.
The biggest problem is, without an ability to make a room request you can't inform them you'd like your room ready early, if possible.I kind of think that the "fix" is going to be removing the room request fields entirely.
Oddly, I've never been able to put a room request in on the app. Not from the first day it was added.I noticed that the online check-in within the MDE app no longer has any place for room requests, unlike when it was first added. Now if they’d just take it off the website we’d be good!![]()

You can still do the arrival time portion. Just no where to check that you want the room ready early right nowIn my experience, it's always been spotty at best, and even when something showed up it was usually incorrect (as in an option for Congress Park at the Poly).
I do think they should just eliminate requests from the online check-in, provided they give you the option to let them know your arrival time and that getting your room early is your top priority. There are other ways to get your requests into the system.

Yes, correct, they do have a spot for you to put in your arrival time.It would make sense to do it. Especially since many people don’t seem to understand the difference between “request” and “guarantee”. (Which is my theory as to why it has been disabled.)
As for the time thing, isn’t there already an “estimated arrival time” slot? Seems that essentially serves the purpose - if the assigner sees an early arrival, they could try if possible to assign a room that is empty the night before, making it available upon arrival.
Sorry I asked a question that's been asked many times. I don't have a lot of time on my computer to look through all the posts. When I originally did online check-in I was able to put in my requests, but I've since changed my reservation a couple of times and thought maybe I was being "punished" by Disney for making the changes. I didn't realize it was an ongoing problem for others. Sorry.
No, no, don't be sorry. It was more a point to show that this is a problem that is very common and brought up all the time and the board would benefit by a sticky so others who clearly are having the same problem can see that it's common and happening to everyoneSorry I asked a question that's been asked many times.
