Unable to make Epcot dining ressies 8/21-10/21

Just spoke to a cm that said there is a freeze on dining ressies in Epcot for the time period of 8/21-10/21. She said she didn't know what was going on, but she got an email this morning stating that. I had called to change some of my dining ressies around, but couldn't because of this. Anyone have any more info or anyone else able to make ressies for this time period?

That's very common unfortunately.

It may have something to do with the reservations for the Food & Wine Festival. They totally screwed everything up when they opened the F & W reservation number on Monday. Half the CM's answering the phones could not book the F & W events because they switched the F & W phone lines over to the regular dining reservations line. They may be having computer issues and this may be their way of dealing with it until they can fix the problem. They also have not been allowing anyone to book reservations for the New Italian restaurant yet even though it is suppose to be operating under the new ownership/management on September 1.

I called last night and this morning to add an Epcot ADR for September and was told "the system is down" both times.

Its disappointing to me that they can't seem to get it together on several levels. I'm sure there are still people who need to replace Teppanyaki ADRs, and most likely many of them don't even know about it! There have been several other things that have bothered me lately and it just seems that Disney is messing up in a lot of areas. (Most of this is for another thread, I guess). Oh well, I'm sure the magic will still be there when we arrive .

I was able to make ADRs for Biergarten at Epcot yesterday afternoon.

guess things are working again
had an unusually long wait though for both service and checking on availability.. that may explain it .. computer issues??

I think all of disney is having computer issues today. The disney cruise website was having issues this morning too. People came on the cruise board to say the online reservation system for excursion, spa, and palo dining was down.

I think it's a computer problem. I have been on hold three times, just listening to the music then a click and I'm in the survey.

they are probaby trying to find places for all the people who lost their ADRs for Japan not opening on time. They have to fix that.
