For sure! The list of who is staying where on the front page may be helpful if people need to organize rides. Plus, if someone has their own vehicle and is staying at a particular resort, maybe they would be willing to bring some friends back with them. I don't have a vehicle, so I can't speak for myself on that one though.

For our WineBar George friends; I think the first table of 6 is settled and hosted by Tres at 12noon. We'll need another person to host, because the table limit to reserve on online is 6.

Larger parties 7 or more require an email reservation. I think we're up to 11 who are interested? (If we wanted to try to have a big group.) Do folks have a strong preference if large dining groups are allowed by the management/county, depending on capacity needs? Are smaller groups (of 6 or less) preferred?

I am staying at BWV and would love some fellow Disers staying at Epcot resorts to walk back with after Galaxy Edge. I am a little nervous about walking alone at that time.

For the Galaxy's Edge party, HS is closing at 9pm, so I wonder if we'll be pushed out of the park and wait around at the front gate and then go back in. Curious how they do this. 2 hours is a short amount of time, I want to get as much in as possible! haha

I'm pretty sure at the EPCOT event a few years ago, everyone had to leave. Then gathered by the entrance gates and was let in pretty much right on time.

You may want to verify what will be available at 1am. (Assuming buses leave at 12:30a, arrive Contemp about 12:45a) I'm not familiar with the bus schedules to know what will be running after DSprings is closed. Perhaps we could get a thread going for post-SW:GE travel buddies?

This is one of the biggest questions that we have. We aren't planning on getting a rental car (my wife and I are staying at SSR) so we're relying on the busses more than normal, hoping after the party they have busses going to more than just the Contemporary.

We shared an uber back to Pop after the 20th and it was easy. I realize things with it aren't the same now but it's still my plan and can share with amyone at pop or willing to walk across to aoa.

Backup plan is to walk from dhs to the 1st hotel we hit and have them call a cab. The buses after the 20th took a long time and while most of us will stay to the end, it also forces you into staying until it's over.

So, full disclosure, I'm kind of on the fence about coming down with the Delta variant going around. I'm still leaning on the side of "the trip is still on", but I'm hoping this wave comes and goes by mid-September.

Just kind of a heads up for those I'm doing brunch with.

If push comes to shove I might be able to simply put the existing reservation in someone in the party's name, but hoping it doesn't come to that.

I too am on the "this trip is still on".....but I'm nervous because it looks like this wave hasn't even peaked yet...

I'm hoping and praying the wave settles down - it doesn't look good now i know. I'm in the "the trip is on camp" right now. Hopefully things will settle???? wishful thinking? I'm vaccinated so I'll still go but I don't really know how I'd feel going if they mandate that masks be worn OUTDOORS as well. Indoors - okay fine... that isn't so bad.

Hi Tres, Thanks for posting. Given the heat, I imagine anytime between 10a-7pm may be too hot to eat outside. I'm still planning on coming, but with the increasing peak/circumstance in FL, I may not feel comfortable dining in an indoors group setting. (I'm already nervous about being indoors during the expo for hours at a time.) I should know about a week out, unless you'd prefer for us to cancel earlier if we feel like we can't attend brunch. Thank you again!

I'm still in, but agree it's too bad this is picking up again. I've pretty much convinced myself it would have to be real bad for me to back out. Worst-case scenario is I spend more time by the pool. I was already considering adding the Tuesday Boo Bash event(along with Friday) just to avoid the crowds. I think I'll probably skip the Expo days unless things improve by then.
