Umm...twice in a one year?

So we took our DL trip in October, it was great. Some close friends of ours just went over the summer and had a not so great time.

She actually does my hair and at my last appt. our wheels started turning....uh oh.

Since neither of our dh are interested in going again...why not have a girls only trip???? She doesnt have kids but adores my two dd, and we have tentatively set a date for April 22-26th.

Hojo entertainment rate of $136 ($271 split in half)
R/t airfare on Alaska to LB $200 (rounded up with taxes)
Companion fare certificate $50
Moms airmiles for another ticket $0
Already have my AP $0
Nana and Papa buying dd DL tickets as a Christmas gift (they dont know we are even going yet) $0

Total $386

I havent included food or transfers in there yet as those are still up in the air.

We are also going to Knotts and my sister is purchasing mine and dd's tickets for that for Christmas as well.

I did the research and it looks as though the majority of the spring breakers will be gone by this time and its 2 weeks after Easter, which was a good time to go according to Birnbaums...but we know how those are.

Am I missing anything? Is this too good to be true?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention...I will not be taking my 2 year old son, he is staying home with Daddy. This is the only potential crux about this whole thing as I have never been away from him overnight...at all. Kinda nervous about it. He is my third, my youngest, my only boy and probably my last child. Makes it tough.

Any words of advice and/or did I miss anything?

I say anytime you can get to DLR it sounds good! And how smart to bring your hair stylist! If your hair gets messed up on the raft ride, she can fix it up for you.

Sounds like a plan! It is always hard to leave the little ones...my son is almost two and in a week I will be leaving him for the first time, but as it gets closer I get more and more excited! Also will be there during that time...the 25th-29th of april and I think it is a great time to go!

well you will have your other two kids with you,right?? I cried the first time I was away from my youngest. . . and as I sit and type this it just sinks in, My only girl is not here,. . . not until Thursday will I see my lil girl! she is at camp. . . have fun and try not to miss your baby too much, he will be fine!
