We were leaving Jiko around 10 tonight, and as we exited, toward the front, there was a table of probably 6 people, including one man wearing a VERY notable earring! I am rarely starstruck - I don't care about most celebs and when we passed James Cameron being interviewed on The View today at DAK, I barely batted an eyelash - but I had a legit fan girl moment tonight! As we walked past the table, I just kept saying under my breath to my husband, "oh my god, it's joe rohde. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!" I didn't want to interrupt his meal or anything, but WOW was that a cool way to end this trip!

Did anyone else see him?!

PS- I didn't know where to post this, so please let me know if it should go elsewhere.

He's in the AK area a lot (as you might expect). My wife and I missed him by a day at Tiffins over the Christmas holidays.

Funny you mention that. My girlfriend and I happened to be sitting at the table directly next to them that night (unbeknownst to us at the time). As we were leaving (mind you that she had accounted for most of the bottle of wine we ordered, lol) she asked for a photo. They were very gracious and appreciated the fact that she was asking about Pandora. The other gentleman who you may have noticed was Jon Landau, the producer of Avatar. A great way to end a fantastic meal. Always ask for the Filet WITH the Mac n' Cheese!!!

I'd rather he stay at AK.
Well, thats already not happening. He oversees all Marvel related projects so Hong Kong and DCA are in his realm. Likely to move somewhere else at WDW too when Marvel finally increases it's presence there. I am a Joe fan so I would like to see him elsewhere as the newer Imagineers don't seem to have as much creative control.

We'll have to agree to disagree on the first part and agree to agree somewhat on the second part.
