Umbrella type stroller for 45 lbs child?

I am strongly leaning toward the Maclaren Quest. I think that it is between the Triumph and the Quest and at Albee Baby the price difference on the 2004 is as little as $10. Does anyone know if the Quest is better than the Triumph? I nearly ordered it a couple of hours ago, but it is more than I have ever spent on a stroller before. We really like the Chicco Caddy that we have and I've heard that there is no comparison with the Macs.

For an older child, I'd get either the Volo or the Quest. The Triumphs have shallower seats and that would probably be a problem for a larger child
. If you want the recline, I'd consider the Quest.

I would have to agree, for an older child I would get the Quest. I took my 5yo ds to test drive the Triumph and the Quest. The triumph's seat was noticeably shallower, and the back of it only came up to just above his shoulders making sitting back impossible. The Quest had more seat depth, and the back came up higher over his neck. Not over the top of his head, but high enough where he CAN lean back without his head falling backward. For the $10 on albeebaby, I jumped on the Quest.

Could someone tell me if the Volo or the Quest are good for not only a heavier child but a taller child? If I get it with the hood, will my 5 year old's head hit the hood?

Anyone know?

We couldn't find a Volo in stock anywhere to try it out...but did try the triumph and the quest at BRU. My 5yo's head was way up above the seat-back on the Triumph (but didn't interfere with the hood, really, since the hood has a good-size curve over the child's head. The quest was by far better for us though, because the seat-back came up halfway up my son's head so his neck would not bobble around when resting. That hood, also, had a good curve over the childd's head so it doesn't knock him in the noggin.
