Ultimate Tickets

Hi, hope someone can advise me. Our tickets arrived from Virgin today with the coupon attached to hand over for our Ultimate Tickets. I'm probably making a mountain out of a mole hill but I'm having a dilemma at the moment!
If we get the tickets on the day that we arrive, it means they will have expired for our last day . But if we leave the tickets until our first full day, we have a breakfast booked for 0805hrs at Crystal Palace, will that be too much of a rush? Would I be able to go over to a park from Pop Century where we are staying, on our arrival day and validate them to start for the following day?
Only a little thing I know but I'm getting stressed

We had e-tickets to validate this year. We got them validated when we checked in but if you don't go into disney that first day (which we didn't as by the time we arrived at the hotel and checked in it was late afternoon, we just took a boat over to DTD) it doesn't matter as you will still have 14 days left as it goes from the first day that you use them, it only counts the days that you go into disney.

Thanks for your answer. I knew I was getting stressed over nothing! Can the hotel issue your tickets or do I need to go to a Park? All I have is a slip on the bottom of my Virgin letter?

If your staying at a disney hotel then yes. We got a "Key to the World" card, which was our room key, park tickets and DDP all on one card. You can have charging privilages on the card as well which is really handy

A little bit of advice, make a photocopy of the voucher or something.

We lost our tickets on what was our second day in Disney (at Magic Kingdom), and got into a panic, tho when we mentioned we had photo copies (admittedly actual tickets, rather than vouchers) they issued us with a replacement ticket for that day, then told us to take that along with the photocopies of our original tickets (which were at our hotel, offsite) to Guest Relations at Epcot (where we were going the next day), and we would be given replacement 14 day Ultimate tickets - was very easy and made what could have been a nasty and expensive mistake, all the better!
