UK summer school holidays

Can someone post the dates for the UK school holidays?

My son's school closes on the 18th of July and they go back on 2nd September.

Those dates should be about right for everyone, but if you want to be 100% sure for the dates for your area, try your local county councils website - some counties have different dates by up to a week or so (though this is less likely on the summer break).

My children's school holidays for our area is the 25th of July. Our area is Lowestoft and Beccles area of Suffolk.

Our schools finish on Friday 27th June and return round about August 20th.

And down here on the South Coast (this thread is starting to sound like a weather forecast!!) the holidays start on 24th July and, I believe go back on or around the 3rd September.

Think steve-rob has the best idea to check on dates.

my dates here in West Yorkshire are 25th July - back on 2nd September.

DS & DD at high school finish on the 18th .

Best to go into school & ask or ring your local education dept.
