I finally heard back from my planner and my dessert party is back on. We finalized a menu. Here it is
Birthday cake--Cinderella theme, six inches with butter cream $43
Butterscotch marshmallow squares
Chocolate covered strawberries
Cotton candy
Mickey mouse shortbread with chocolate dipped ears
Baby cakes cinnamon sugar doughnuts
Assorted meat and cheese platter
Water, milk and fruit punch
Ice cream novelties BOC
Cost per person $39
I want to thank everyone who posts their menus. It really helped with inspiration. I would never have thought of cotton candy but I saw that here and know my kids will love it.
The chefs have been great coming up with a safe menu for my nut allergic daughter. All her food will be plated separately.
A couple of questions still. Do I need decor or is UK pubside sufficiently lovely? I was thinking assorted paper flowers. Can I bring glow sticks, bracelets, necklaces?
I have read that a Soarin' mix in is available for no extra cost. Is this something to consider or would it be more pleasant to enjoy a leisurely exit after the fireworks? Is it a long walk to Soarin' through the backstage area?
Thanks so much again.
