OK i SEE THE DINING ROOM IS CLOSED BUT NOT THE PUB SO NO FOOD .

mY hUSBAND IS A BRIT AND ABSOLUTLY LOVES THE LITTLE FISH & CHIPS STAND NEAR ROSE AND CROWN WITH THE HARD CIDER. i IMAGINE THEIR KITCHEN IS THE ONE AT ROSE AND CROWN, SO i HOPE THAT WILL BE OPEN WHEN WE GO DOWN THERE IN MARCH.
hAS ANYONE BEEN THERE TO KNOW RECENTLY IF IT IS STILL OPEN DURING RENOVATIONS?

here is a Fish & Chips stand next to the pub. You could probably get food there and bring it into the pub or get a cider to go.
