I was just booking for a trip from the US and found the US site to be quite a bit cheaper than the UK site. I am not sure if this is widely known, but I booked my trip, 3 days/2nights at the Disneyland Hotel in late July, US site was $1670 (1074 pounds, 1291 euro), UK site was 1209 pounds, Irish site was 1363 euro.

Looks to me like if the deals are the same, you are better off if you can book from the US site. The dollar must have been strong against the pound and euro when DLP set their rates, and has since fallen off. Worth a look though in my mind to save a hundred pounds or seventy five euro.

Thanks for posting this ~ hopefully it will help some people. :goodvibes

It will only be any good if people from europe or the UK have a commission free credit card as they could lose out in the conversion. It also depends on the rate the time the money is paid.

Good if you have a credit card that offers commission free & business exchange rate though:thumbsup2

I'm an American living in Belgium and booked our previous trip through the UK site because it was less expensive. Now I'm pricing another trip, and hadn't even bothered to look at the US site. Thanks to your post, I checked...and I can get the same trip for $890 instead of GBP 644 (~$1030). :cool1:

Now I'm thinking I should go check the Belgian site... :teacher:

ETA: The Belgian site offered Euro 727 (~$974). I guess it pays to shop around!

Great, glad this helped. I started thinking about it, when the US dollar was doing really well against the Euro back in the summer must have been when the set prices for 2011.

727 Euro at the lowest it went (About $1.20) would be about $872, which is really similar to the $890 the US site quoted. Must be luck of the rates that is helping the US prices.
