Actually, I've just looked at the menu again and I see that the wedges are rosemary and thyme. If the bubble and squeak isn't an option, I'll have the wedges, please.

The new potatoes are described as "herb buttered" if that helps anyone with their decision.

Thanks Deb, Im a bit confused about that as well, think it might be an error on their part or the bubble and squeak is just a small side, the girl sounded very confused when she phoned me ,so I will check with her when I phone back, however its good to have the choice just in case

Karen - How do you want your steak cooked and do you want chips,wedges or new pots.

Sorry Im in work trying to deal with all this, so I may miss a thread, the bubble and squeak is with the lamb shank so no problems there, they made a mistake.

I dont think they will cook anything before we arrive, Im sure its just so when we arrive we can relax order drinks and not have to worry about the food part.

Its a lovely dining place and Im sure they are just trying to provide good service
