Panning is easy mate, you just need a little practice at it to get an idea of the speed to move at. Just remember to set a slow-ish shutter speed.

Must be ESP, Kevin, as I was thinking a shot from Waterworld would fit in this group when I was looking at the entries yesterday. Hope the Boss (that would be Boss Hogg's boss) allows it.

Apparently not, Tony. After you asked, I looked and now realize two things--
1) Though I have thousands of snapshots of WDW and Disneyland in 21 photo albums (that's an actual count and I'm sure that Theresa will understand how that sort of thing happens), I really have very few photos in digital format. and 2) I seem to pick subjects for my photos that are pretty much non-action. In fact, I seem to like things that are standing perfectly still.

I'll keep watching the photo threads and if I ever think I have something worthwhile to contribute, I will. Thanks for asking.
