UK Car Charger for Mobile in the US

Another quick mobile related question, will my UK car charger for my mobile fit into a US lighter port in our rental vehicle? Our US charger is a Nokia and I've just had a new Sony Ericsson, so thought I could avoid the hassle of trying to buy another mains charger when we're over there.

Yes it should be fine as most car 'lighters' or their outlet points for electriacl equipment are an international fitting.
