I know this won't work for you, but others have mentioned this. My GYNO actually prescribes my birth control pills without the sugar pills at the end. I have endometriosis and to cut down on the pain (well, the whole period) I just take the active pills. She says I can have a period if I feel bloated at anytime, but she says it is safe if you have one a year. I've been doing this for about three years and it really helps.
There is one other solution, but it is a bit drastic and I don't know if you or your doctor would be willing to do this. There is a drug called Lupron that they put people with endometriosis on. The best way I can explain it is that it gobbles up the hormones that trigger your body to get ready to have a period. They do it for us because it actually kills some of the endometrial tissue as it needs the hormones to live, but it stops your periods entirely. The downside is that you don't get the hormones that women need to help promote bone growth. So you have to take lots of calcium and they usually limit the time your on the drug to six months.
Sorry this sounds like a biology class! I know this may be drastic for a wedding, but there are other non-hormone options to modify your cycle out there. There may be something else that your GYNO can suggest. If its something that is important to you, it can't hurt to ask.
