Uh oh....for the first time I'm going to be visiting WDW twice in one year. I always read the posts from people who go a few times a year and thought....they must be crazy. Why would you want to go more than once? Well, here I am. My husband thinks I'm insane and my friends all reply with "didn't you just go there?" when I tell them where I'll be spending my vacation in October. They look at me like I have three heads and just don't get it. I just bought a time share last October and I think that because we get such a great price for a week in Orlando, it's going to be hard to resist going more often. Help! I'm afraid I'll never go anywhere else now. But then again, what's better than a week at WDW?? - Nancy :lovestruc

pfft... let em look at ya like you are crazy... They have no idea what they are missing!! If I lived anywhere near orlando I'd be there every weekend

Those TS's that save so much money on accommodations do tend to bring you back more often that you expect...beware addonitis:rotfl: .

Enjoy your trips.

Oh oh; You're on a slippery slope here. Before you know it you'll be going 4-5 times a year like we do. Best advice, buy into DVC and get an AP. :thumbsup2

When we get those questions, we simply smile broadly and say "Yes of course, we are going back." In fact, the usual question to us is "When are you going again?"

DW and I just love arriving at Disney for whatever time we can get away and afford to go. Right now we are at 2x - 3x in a 12 month period. Everyone where I work stopped asking where I'm going on vacation, they just asked where you book at this trip :rotfl2: , my boss asks how long are you going to be gone this time, I'll say 10 - 12 days, and I'd add in, If you give me a raise I could stay longer...... :rotfl2: can't wait to move there.....

Add me to the first time "twice in one year" trip club!

We will be going in October and we were "just there" in January (though it seems WAY too long ago!!!) :rotfl:

I don't think I can wait 111 MORE DAYS!!! Ahhhhhh!!!!!!!

Hooray! I'm glad to see I'm not alone. I definitely do feel like I"m on a slippery slope lol. There are so many reasons to visit throughout a year....Osbourne lights.....Flower Festival....MNSSHP.....MVMCP and my favorite...Food and Wine Festival. I mean, how could I possibly not do them all?? Thanks for the support guys :wave2: :yay: :flower3: :disrocks:

I went twice last year!! And I am having withdrawals this year because I am only going once. Who cares what people think. Everytime I go to the world, I see or do something different. Or stay in a resort I haven't stayed in before. There are so many things to do, that you could go for years and still do something new every time!

I've been going twice a year for the last couple of years. This will be our second year with AP's. I'm leaving in a couple weeks and have already made plans with DBF to take all the kids on a big trip next June (send a little Pixie Dust my way that a magical event will happen since both divorces will be final :sunny: ). Now I'm trying to decide if I should go in October for MNSSHP (which we have never seen) or MVMCP (which we have been to three times). Decisions, decisions, decisions.

I ask myself, did I buy annual passes because I go twice a year or do I go twice a year because I have annual passes? :confused3

Go to MNSSHP. It's such a blast. Truly an event for kids but as an adult, I enjoyed all the costumes, displays and the parade is my favorite. Yes, I even trick or treated with my little goodie bag. And the best pins of the year for me are the ones you can only get at the party. I've always been a huge fan of Halloween so this is a do not miss activity if you are too.

I was just about to post the exact same thing.

We went from going maybe once every 12-18 months to 3-4X a year. And, the cost is pretty darned close.

Isn't DVC the freakin' greatest?!? I only wish that (1) I got more points (2) I bought in earlier.

The AP discount is a pretty awesome deal, too.

And us to the twice a year crowd, we went for 12 days in March and can't stand the idea of not going down again until next year so we decided for a long weekend in October for MNSSHP (a first for us.) Next year we're planning for a Star Wars Weekend (something else we've never done) and then again for a little longer the end of November beginning of December for Christmas, MVMCP, and CLP, all things that would be new to us. I'm so excited that after going to Disney rather regularly from 1974 to now that there are always new things to do.

I'm excited that we get to go for the F&W Festival and MNSSHP this year!

Add us to the list also- We were only there in January and are going back in August! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

We go every Christmas/NYE and then again in the summer (usually in August for my DD's birthday). Do you have an annual pass yet? You get WDW FREE parking when you drive from your timeshare :). BTW, if you have existing tickets you can apply their value to an AP at any of the Customer Relations windows at the parks.

Because of logistics and time constraints I can usually only go once a year but on rare occasions I have gone twice. In 1997 (the year of the infamous Birthday Cake Castle) I went in the end of February and again near the end of March.

:cake:
This probably counts as well, last October I went to Disneyland and then to Walt Disney World in March.

:thumbsup2
Even when I only go once a year I still get the strange looks and questions when I say I'm going again. Some of these people go to the coast of Maine about 6 times a year. You'd think that they would understand but they don't. Oh, well! To each his own.

:car:

Hi!
I'm going in August with my DD and DGD 3 1/2 with free dining. For the first time ever, I'm going twice in one year. My girlfriend and I are going in December. I've never been there at Christmas and have always wanted to see the Osborne lights and the resort decorations. Can't wait. My family thinks I'm crazy, but I don't care. I'd like to get my husband to go next April for our 38th wedding anniversary. He likes WDW buy is not obsessed with it as I am. Next year, I'm hoping I can afford to go three times.

I booked a flight last week which, if I decide to go, will be my tenth trip this year.

We just got back from eight days, June 2nd through the 10th, and we're going again in August. If that's not bad enough, we've promised our DD we'll go in April for her 7th birthday.

I'm going to have to find a second job..... Oh well, you can't take it with you.

Man, it's fun!!!

Hadn't been to WDW in 20 years...took our kids in March and we were hooked! We're headed back down at the end of the month and have a big trip with the grandparents planned for Spring Break in March 07. That will be three times in just about 12 months.

I guess I'm making up for lost time! However, we just keep our eyes out for flight sales....

However, I haven't really told many folks we're going back already in June. I mentioned it to my mother briefly. "We might sneak down to Florida if we get a flight sale". She said "My you all DO like Florida don't you!".
