Uh oh - problem with DP reservation?

I booked my next trip to Disney tonight for Nov 2010 - yay!

BUT I added the Dining Plan for my family and the whole package came out a few hundred dollars cheaper than expected (based on the website). I asked about this specifically and the CM told me I probably selected something different (ie wrong) online and that prices can be different via phone. But having checked again since I got off the phone I am pretty sure they did not charge the DP for my youngest daughter who is 2 right now, but will be 3 when we travel next year. I specifically told the CM we were going to Disney to celebrate my daughter's 4th birthday and gave her birth date. Yet when I plugged everything into the computer with my daughter as 2 years it comes up to the price I was quoted tonight when I booked. So...now what? Will this get figured out on their end? Will my daughter's DP be ok? Is it actually up to me to call them and clarify what I think is their mistake despite having provided all of the right info? Or do I take the CM's word that everything is fine as is?

They did the same thing last year when I booked the bounceback for this year.

I booked it, planning to take my youngest niece and she was only 2 at the time. I specifically told the CM that she would be 3 at the time of the trip. When given the price it seemed much less then I expected as I wasn't charged the 10 day park ticket for her.

I later changed the reservation and put her older sister on it and took her off as my sister agreed to letting the older one miss another 2 weeks of school. I have already booked the bounceback this year and don't worry, the younger niece is going this time-she should be tall enough to ride the 40" rides I know she will want to go on!

There isn't a huge rush to fix it. I would make sure it is done by the 45 day mark though.

I would call them and say your child needs to be registered as a 3 year old, not a 2 year old. If you go with her registered as a 2 year old she will not have DDP.

Whenever I've booked they've asked me the age of the child when we travel. So even though she's 2 now they put her down as 4. My thought...she's booked as 2.

I just got a quote from Disney yesterday for a vacation package. Our daughter is 2 now, but will be 3 when we travel. The CM I spoke with gave us a quote that was for what I'd calculated it to be from the website, but said the system was giving her troubles since my daughter's actual birthdate is recorded in the system. She supposedly made some adjustment to it, but when I actually got the email confirmation for the reservation, I noticed the price was quite a bit lower. I realized that it must have calculated my daughter as 2, because the summary only had 3 park tickets (not 4) and the DP looked off as well.

I ended up booking through a TA who didn't put my daughter's age in and had no problems getting the reservation to save correctly.
