Uh oh! I need some advice/help.

I just ran into a big dilemma last night. I've got a trip to Disneyworld booked for 2 for an 8 nights stay at CSR with the park hopper plus, dining plan, and the whole nine yards. We booked through AAA. Our trip isn't until the 2nd week in September so we haven't paid our entire amount yet...just the initial 200 dollar deposit.

My problem is I last night I found out a family member is getting married the same weekend we will be gone and I kind of wanted to be there for that. Does anyone know if there is a way to change the dates of our trip just a week or so earlier with or without penalties? Its not like we want to cancel our trip all together. We just want it to come a little sooner (can you blame us? )

From what I've gathered we can change our airplane reservations for a 50 dollar fee per ticket which I can handle, just wondering if AAA and Disneyworld will be so flexible. Thanks in advance for any advice anyone can give me!!!

you should be able to cancel and then rebook through aaa with no problem

You should be able to re-book with your new dates but if you're on the free dining plan, the resort or room type that you originally wanted may not be available. So, flexibility would be key.

You would also want to book that trip before 6/25 to get the free dining. If you cancel the old ressie and try to rebook a new one after 6/25, you won't be able to get free dining.

Thank you for the quick responses. Thats why I love the disboards!! I was afraid I might lose my free dining which is definitely a priority for us. I'm assuming the $200 deposit we put down on our trip will be lost if we have to cancel and rebook?

No, the deposit can be transferrd to your new ressie. You shouldn't lose it.
