UH-OH...Have you seen this post?????

I wonder how long it'll be before that thread gets locked!

Not good at all. Lets just hope the CM was new and made a mistake and it wont happen again. I pay alot of money for APs for 5 of us, both for discounts and to be able to take extended or more than one trip in that year, im about to renew for the third year. This is a little disturbing:mad:

Especially since I spent HOURS on the phone trying to get ANY AP room with not much luck, and now I suspect some of those rooms could be given to people who dont have APs. I realize you can hold rooms on an AP discount but you are supposed to have them when you check in.

I hope this is an error

I personally don't believe this person. First why ask if they wanted to see the AP, second why go buy it first and not wait until they asked. And lastly Disney does not return AP's, they say on bold red letters - NON-TRANSFERABLE NON-REFUNDABLE.

I am betting this was posted to get a rise here.

Hmmm...

New poster (only 10 posts at this time) and they're posting about something that will obviously get people riled up...

Can you say....

TROLL?!!!

::yes:: ITA

And it's working so well!

I totally agree, I believe that this person is just posting this to get everyone up in arms.

That's happened to me before. I'll have an AP rate and get out my AP at checkin. They say they don't need to see it. A little shocking.

Reminds me of the people who posted bragging that they "hid" in MK to get into MVMCP without paying. I paid to be there and felt it was very unfair. :(

I don't believe this poster. I just don't believe Disney would give a refund for an AP.

If a person was a TROLL...why would they edit the post and take out some information that got it all started to begin with? I'm not trying to start anything, it just doesn't make sense to me. If I was trying to start something, I would leave the post EXACTLY as it was and never visit the board again.

I'm a little confused as to what they brought back? Where does it say they returned the AP? What am I missing?

People do that without the arm bands?

Shameless!

The OP edited their original post and took that part out, I guess because they were catching so much heat for it.

phew, thank you Pete's Mom, thought I really had lost my ability to comprehend ;)

The two times I went they only issued arm bands to those who had tickets and were already in the park when the party started. When we entered through the gate at the start of the party with our MVMCP tickets, we were not issued arm bands. I think the arm bands are silly, I mean, how many CM's are going approach a guest and say where is your arm band? I need to see your ticket! If WDW enforced it, it might work.

What really bothered me were the people who posted saying that they paid and then complained about those who snuck into the party and then said they were so mad that THEY were going to do the same thing and sneak in next year.

Don't you know the OP is saying to themselves, "DIE THREAD! DIE!" :p

maybe I'm wrong but I think people are reading this the wrong way.

Here's how I read it. The person called and reserved a room using the AP rate. When they got to Disney they went and bought their AP (to qualify for the rate). I didn't read anything about returning the AP (which you cannot do anyway...it's non-transferable and not returnable).

Isn't that what a lot of people do? I know you can buy a voucher ahead of time, but there is nothing wrong with not buying your AP until you are there. As long as you have an AP for check in.

I just think someone misunderstood what this person was saying.

Yep! OR they are getting great satisfaction out of how everyone is responding

What happened was after the OP posted the thread and started getting flamed, they edited the post and took out the part they they actually returned the AP!
