One pair of the Disney Crocs I ordered for my DD arrived today. I think I made a huge mistake though! :( I ordered my DD6 a Kids' size 4/5 Crocs and they look like they are toddler sized. She normally wears a size 1.5... What happened? Are the kids' sizes for toddler feet? Should I have ordered her a women's small? She has been looking forward to getting these since I ordered them and they are way too small. Not only that, but I got them at that great price of $13.99 from Dick's Sporting Goods and Google. Sigh.... :(

I just finished placing my order minutes ago for my ds6 and ordered a 4/5 since he is a 2.5ish. Ugh, they should list those as toddler sizes and not kids. What is even more confusing is when I went to the Crocs site they don't even have a 4/5 on the size chart but they do have a C4/5 on the drop down menu. Oh well, I guess I should have known it was too good to be true. Hopefully the ladies small I ordered for dd9 will fit. I will have to hide them though because they didn't have the pink in kids sizes and dd5 will be none too happy if big sis gets a pair and she doesn't. They have it on shoebuy.com but I don't really want to pay $30 for dd5.

Uh oh! Can someone shed some light on the sizing for us please?:goodvibes Are the children's sizes meant to fit a toddlers foot or is it possible that Dick's sent the wrong size? :confused3

I recently bought a pair of kids Disney Crocs for my sister. She wears adult XS Beach Crocs but couldn't find any, so decided to try the child sized ones. She discovered that she can also wear the children's size XL beach Crocs. I don't know the corresponding number size that those would be, but in adult shoes she wears a size 5 or 5 1/2.

Sorry I don't know more, but I thought maybe that would help. :)

I'm just curious... why would both of you order a child's size 4/5 (which is indeed a toddler size) if your children wear a 1.5 or a 2.5? My DD8 wears a size 2.5, I wouldn't order her a 4/5, I ordered her a child's 2 and they fit perfectly.

If you know how kids shoes sizes work, this should not be confusing. Kids shoes start in toddler sizes up to about a 13, then start over at a child's size 1 and go up to about 3, then they start wearing adult sizes. This is not just for Crocs, it's pretty standard for all shoes.

When I ordered the Crocs, they had limited sizes available. Since my DD6 wears a size 1.5/2, I decided to order her the closest size they have in stock which was a size 4/5. She won't be using the Crocs until December and I thought they might possibly fit her by then. Plus, I wanted to take advantage of the discount and Google checkout discount.

I do understand how children's shoes work. I think the toddler sizes even go up beyond a size 7 into 11s (my DD4 has a pair of size 11 sandals) and maybe even 12s and 13s..... When I read the size "child" on Dick's Sporting Goods' website, I assumed that these were sizes for a child not a toddler. Of course, it also didn't occur to me that I could go on the Crocs site and print out a sizing chart that would have helped a great deal. Now, I know.

I just returned the pair I ordered today. I ordered a 4/5 thinking it was children's but it was toddler's. My daugther was disappointed. I can't figure out on their web site where children's sizes are so I'm waiting until we seem them in a store.

I did the same thing, but haven't returned them yet. The sizing is a bit confusing isn't it?

I got worried reading this so had to go look up what I had ordered & what is offered. It looks like DSGs lists the children's shoes as either

Crocs Cayman Disney Kids Color:PINK/PEARL Size:3

Crocs Cayman Disney Kids Color:PINK/PEARL Size: Kids 4/5.

I am guessing that the Kids sizes are the toddler & up and the ones without Kids in front of the number are the bigger kid's shoes. I am hoping this is the case anyway but I haven't received my order yet.

where did you find them for $13.99??????? I went to Dicks Sporting Goods.com and could not find them for cheaper than $30. What is your trick??? Thank you in advance!!

Guess I will be returning some Croc's when they get here.

Also... I made two seperate orders. One is on the way (wrong size :sad2: ) and then Dick's emailed me Tuesday stating that my address was incorrect and they could not process the order. I called and they told me that they cancelled the order. I was at work so I didn't press farther. Now that I've had time to think, the 20%off coupon is expired and I don't know if I can use the $10 Google checkout since I used it already for the order. I should have asked why they couldn't hold my order until more came in. I went on their website today and the size that I ordered is there so what's the problem? :confused3

I got my crocs from Dicks in the mail today. They fit okay..feel a little wierd since this is my first pair..but other then that okay. I didn't order any for my DD4 because I couldn't figure out the sizing and didn't want to end up returning them. I have resided myself to paying $30 for her Disney Crocs at the local mall where at least she can try them on and I can get the right size. Sorry so many of you had problems. pirate: pirate: princess:

I ordered the Disney crocs for my kids for Christmas. If memory serves me correctly, the 4/5, 6/7, etc. are toddler/young child sizes. Once the numbers
"start over" with 1 the sizing goes to "adult sizes" (M1/W3 etc.)

My 1 1/2 yo got a 6/7, my 3 yo got a 10/11 and my 6 yo got a M1.

I did the same thing I ordered 4/5 thinking it would be bigger kids but was a toddlers. the sizing is confusing!
1
2
3
4/5
5/6
and so on thinking that the size 4/5 is larger than 3 I also ordered my other son a 1 and that is right for a 6 yr. old but for a 10 year old in a size 3 the 4/5 is not right and I had him try on my womans small 6/7 and they are way to big! I called customer service and they told me they do not sell that size in disney crocs, so I will have to order off of the crocs.com site it looked like they had his size, I'll wait for my credit then ordeer his! I was bummed and so was he. :sad2: :sad1:

This is exactly how the sizing is. Kids means toddlers, without is bigger kids. I only happen to know that kids crocs weren't made in a size 4 or bigger because I wanted the kids to save money so had looked around at the mall before.

Bummer for all you out there, hope you can find another deal!

Does anyone know if you can use a different e-mail address for the Google checkout and still get the $10 off?

Thanks everyone for your replies!:goodvibes

Their sizing is confusing isn't it? :confused3 I guess if I had ordered the Crocs when the coupons/ codes were first posted and Dick's had all of the sizes available, I may have been able to figure the size thing out. I waited until the last minute though and they didn't have much of a selection for me to compare sizes too. :(

Now that I know how the sizing works, I hope there will be a new discount/copuon code combination that will work for the Disney Kid's Crocs sometime in the near future.:goodvibes

Thanks everyone for helping to clarify this!:goodvibes

I know how kids shoe sizes work and they go beyond size 3. My dd9 wears a child size 4 1/2, she can also wear adult size shoes but I prefer paying child prices for a 9yr old. There were no other sizes listed other than 4/5 and 6/7 so it was not obvious that they were toddler sizes.

And why would I buy my ds6 a 4/5 if he is only a 2/5ish? Because he can go with a 3 sometimes and has a very wide foot and high instep so a 4/5 wouldn't have been that big of a stretch for him if he was going to fit in them for the summer. And besides that was the only size available at Dick's.

I'd say it must be somewhat confusing if more than one of us has had the same problem. I'm glad that you know better.

irish dancer, I'm sorry if I offended you. No need to get snarky, I was just genuinely curious and confused.
