Ugly Hub

I'm more bothered by the fact that so much green space had to be sacrificed for this. I won't judge yet but the plans don't look very attractive so far.

Sometimes safety and crowd control have to come before aesthetic. With how busy the parks are, something had to be done. When that area fills up after the fireworks it is a situation that is asking for something bad to happen.

I don't know how it will look either, but there's no doubt about it....it's a lot more concrete : (

Yeah, it won't look as pretty once finished. I mean, who likes concrete? And yeah, cranes and construction walls aren't pretty either. But to be fair this project IS necessary. With the MK being more crowded than ever, Disney has to find a way for the park to be safer/more practical, even if they have to sacrifice a few bushes and trees to do so.

The crowds will still be bottlenecked as they try to leave. I hope that the second pathway helps a lot with that.

Here now, and I don't feel like the construction around the hub interfered with my enjoyment of the MK at all. There are always construction walls at disney. It seams as if they are trying to have a minimal impact on park use during the day. It didn't bother me at all. As far as the project as a whole goes, it's absolutely necessary. You can't move through that area of the park at all during the fireworks.

Actually the plans make it look very attractive. There looks to be a lot of greenery going back in when all is done. And some where there isn't any now.
