October used to be a good time to go that wasn't crowded at all. I remember about 10 years ago it was so clear. They've done a good job with the halloween parties and with the food and wine festival (and special rates) of getting people there. Plus, a lot of schools have fall break right around columbus day. So a lot of kids are out of school. It is getting to be a busy time. For dvc, the point charts are kind in October.
