Ugh. I hate being sick

This has been going on for 4 weeks now. First it started with a nasty cold which went into bronchitis then into a touch of pneumonia which I highly recommend Was put on 2 different antibiotics, the latter of which has made me incredibly sick. Went for a chest x-ray last week which stated no remnants of the pneumonia...yay. However, still sick. Doctor sent me for bloodwork to find out what kind of virus this is that is still sticking around. Nasty deep cough, low grade fever that goes up and then down below normal, achy and annoyed!

So sorry you are so sick! That stinks!!! This stuff is one of the reasons I HATE cold and flu season. Just when I'm dreading that my son has a nasty case of Pink Eye.....2 days before Thanksgiving and 11 days before Dh and I leave for Key West.

My mom can sympathise with you. Every cold she catches turns into either bronchitis or pneumonia. Sometimes both. Our doctor said that there is a nasty, nasty cold going around. I had it two weeks ago but I doped up on medicine and it went away. She still has it but it hasn't turned into pneumonia and hopefully won't. Good luck getting healthy.

Oh, my gosh, woman! I saw the title of this thread and my first thought was, "MM is STILL sick??" You poor thing--I hope the doctors get it figured out and get you feeling better soon, my friend. I knew I hadn't seen you recently but I was hoping you were just too busy doing something fun--not sick with the crud.

MM. I can't believe you're still sick either. This just sucks. Hopefully the blood work will be definitive and you can finally get the right meds to treat whatever it is.

But you've reminded me I need to gather up my "research" and PM you some pics!
