I'm trying to get an "idea" of what my 2005 trip will cost by looking at prices for room only for the same dates in 2004. Well, on Disney's new website, you can't specify what view you'd like. They pick it for you. So I was only able to find out LV concierge at the Polynesian, GV at the Polynesian, Main Bldg. Concierge at the GF and Tower concierge at the Contemporary.
First of all, I knew that concierge would be $$$, but $585.38 a night?!?!?!?!!? Come on! That's over $200 more a night than a garden view room at the Polynesian. I can see $100 more, but not $200 more. That is NOT worth it to me.
I really wanted to find out the cost of a tower room at the Contemporary that is not concierge, but I couldn't get it to come up with that. I think I will definitely use Dreams Unlimited again b/c I got such great service!
Anyway, just wanted to vent. I guess I should plan on at least $300 a night based on that GV room at the Polynesian. Hopefully, there will be AP rates, a special deal like the Fairy Tale package from last summer or better yet, maybe we'll be living in Tampa by then and there will be some Florida resident rates. It is a year and a half away, but I always like to know how much to plan on saving.
