Ugh! BLT Villas...No Discount????

I want to use the 40% off Disney Villas discount, but BLT is only applying the discount to the studios and NOT the villas...Boo Hoo

However, when I try to book a villa using the rack rate it shows 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom ones are available....

Does anyone think at some point they may put the 1/2 bedroom villas on sale?

We had one reserved with a AAA discount and when the 40% came out we called the first day and were told that there are none available for the discount. Remember not every room qualifies for the promo and if they have enought already booked they won't offer them.

They are most likely "already all gone" as suggested above. I have a 1 BR @ BLT reserved w/ the 40% code during August

Agree. We have the same deal except we are going in July. I had to change my dates by two days (no big deal since I didn't buy airline tickets yet), but I was able to get it. I would try changing your dates by one or two days if you can. One might open up.

Not to put you on the spot, but do you mind telling me how much of a % off the AAA discount was? I have no pin, and currently have a rack rate reservation for a 2 br villa at BLT. If nothing else comes through, which sounds likely, maybe I could at least take advantage of my AAA membership. Thanks!

When I originally booked my stay (without the PIN) I used the 20% off from AAA. Then teh PIN came through and received 40%.

I was curious if you had booked a back-up while checking to see if your ideal room becomes available?

While there will always be some cash inventory at BLT's, as more units are declared into DVC there will be less availability. BLT is extremely popular with members, even those who have to wait until 7 months out to book there due to not having home-resort priority. DVC -declared inventory usually isn't put out for cash ressies until 3 months prior to a check in-date. Who knows...maybe something will open up eventually for the larger villas with your discount. It never hurts to keep checking.---Kathy

Wow - thanks! Maybe I should call Disney back and see if I can apply a AAA discount! 20% would be huge, if I could get it!!!
