Now, I'd keep them. I'm fairly sure people in the olden days stored eggs in the ground unrefrigerated. And people in other countries keep them on the counter. I'd just be sure to cook them like fry them up. But that's just me...![]()
People in the olden days and other countries do not refrigerate their eggs because the way they are farmed is differently.
The way American eggs are washed in the factory requires refrigeration to prevent bacterial growth.
If you have chickens in your backyard, you'd do fine to keep them in a semi-cool spot on the shelf. But store bought eggs are not the same.
Personally, I'd toss them. 20 hours in the garage is a long time.
