Uggs boots...worth the $$$

I have fake UGG's (Rampage) and they are really comfortable. they were a gift. While I can't show off the label, they are very comfy and warm, and I won't worry too much if I get mud/salt on them this winter.

I bought the baby UGG slippers as a gift, and didn't stand up well. Even without taking them outdoors, they became discolored. Very disappointing.

My little 6 month old has UGGS...she has never worn them yet! They are just adorable, though!!!!!!!! I have to get a pair for myself so we can have matching shoes.

BTW---> sierratradingpost.com has FREE shipping for orders over $75 right now.

My daughter has 4 pairs of UGG's and they are basically the only shoes she wears. She has pink, purple, tan and camel and if she isn't wearing flip flops she is in her UGG's. She LOVES them!

Love them, have about 4 pairs, and to my dh's dismay traded in the heels for them! I must say though since they have gotten so popular, the quality (although still awesome) has gone down hill, but they are like a party for your feet, and the good thing is every year you can buy the sheepskin inserts and they are like new again!. Worth every penny, would highly suggest them.

just a question, how is the size, are they true to size? Thanks

i found that they are about a size bigger than what you normally wear. i made the mistake of buying a 9, which is what i usually wear and they stretched a bit and are now bigger than they used to be, i still love them though and wear them all the time. (we just had about 8 inches of snow fall and the snow came up to mid calf on my boots, but they kept my feet toasty warm even standing outside waiting for a bus for 20 min, then walking from the bus stop to work)

The salesperson I talked with said that the only Uggs still made in Australia are the Ugg Ultras. The other styles, the classic and talls etc.. are being made in China now. I have both the classic and the ultra and there is a huge difference. The Ultras have a removable insole that can be replaced for about $20, so even though they cost more they last longer. They are my favorite shoes!

I think it depends. I wore those suckers to Russia about 6 years ago. When I used to wear them to school, people would make fun of my ugly boots. Yeah, I am sure those same style conscious idiots were buying them in a whoe array of colors starting last fall. I purchased them from a ski clothing store (along with a million other things so that I didn't freeze into an ice cube!)... at that point, they were still being produced in Australia and the price was a lot more reasonable. But, 6 years later, they are still in wonderful shape... despite my best abuse and the name calling from peers. Amazing what goes around, comes around.

I think they are very much worth the investment for their practical use. They are boots. To be worn in cold weather when the ground is yucky. They keep your feet warm and cozy... even in Russia in the dead of winter. And oh, so comfortable!

If you're buying them for the "in style" thing right now, I would say no. In all likelihood, the fad is going to pass (if it hasn't already in most places) and then you get stuck with ugly, so yesterday (like duh! :rotfl: ) boots.

You can see the difference in the quality now, I just went to replace my classics and I had to get a completely different size, and they just felt different, then old ones felt like they were made much better. I would not sugest ordereing them before trying them on, you also have to take into consideration that they stretch and you dont wear sock with them. Also the inserts arent just for on style boot, you can get them for all of ytour uggs, although the clogs would prob be a little hard

So what you are saying is that if I take an 8 I need a 7..cause i am watching them on e-bay and need to "watch" the correct ones. :bounce:
